Biography
He was a designer, painter, sculptor and master of contemporary Iranian art. He is the first graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University. He is one of the most modern painters in Iran, which has created exquisite and unique works with a Orientalist approach and personal style. In the years 1969 to 1976, the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts was the University of Tehran. He is the only Iranian painter, the New York Museum of Modern Arts (MOMA), things without intermediaries. He learned reading and writing with his father and began elementary education from 5 years. But he had already become familiar with his father with reading and writing. In elementary school, he was very interested in geography and drawing of geography maps. Painting the map of various countries with red, yellow, green and blue colors was her first contact with coloring. The artist was also interested in music and when he was educated at the Faculty of Fine Arts, 2 years paid to the violin playing. He spent his childhood years in Behbahan and Ahvaz cities. In 1935, he moved to Tehran with his family but soon left Tehran’s city to Orumieh and at the age of 16, he was the first to experience oil painting in the field. Vaziri Moghaddam spent a high school course in unfavorable financial conditions. He was also amphitheatre to decors the scene in Tehran. In 1943, he was accepted at the entrance exam of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University. He was the first of his masters, Ali Mohammad Heydarian, and Madame Amin far. Vaziri Moghaddam graduated in the year 1948 as the first graduates of the Faculty of Fine Arts. In August 1955, he became a Italian road, and up to 1963 in Rome, paid artistic activity. The year 1958 of the academy received the fine arts of Rome. His thesis and his influence on the art of the twentieth century was written to the field.

Master Vaziri Moghaddam is famous for the construction of wooden sculptures, and the first time the creation of the audience could have been involved in the art effect. His biography, along with his review and analytical on a series of his works, in the book: Artists of Iran’s Art Noureux: Mohsen Waziri Moghaddam, co-authored by Roin Pakbaz and Yaghoub Emdadian, with the collaboration of Toukka Mallaki, co-authored by the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and the Institute for the Development of Fine Arts.. From 1964 to 1976, he was working in the Faculty of Decorative Arts (University of Art) and faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University. In the School of Fine Arts, Vaziri Moghaddam has been called the pioneers of modern art of Iran in the midst of the teaching of the veteran’s educational practices and the elimination of the style of perfection. He division education, such as designing, painting and printing, and was the first in the year 1971 of the basic class and design principles in the Faculty of Fine Arts. The most famous disciples of Vaziri Moghaddam can be referred to Asghar Mohammadi, Gholamhossein Nami, and Mohammad Ebrahim Jafari. His writing books in the field of design, including the book Design (first edition: 1981), have been among the textbooks and based of design in Iran.

The years 1949 to 1953, coincided with the beginning of the modernism movement in Iran’s painting, and Vaziri Moghaddam, like many of their own impressionist, and “Vincent van Gogh”. He paintings the landscape, the single face, the scenes of the people’s lives, and is trying to create the traditional themes in a new format. A collection of these paintings was exhibited in the Iranian Association of Iran and America as the first individual exhibition in the year 1952. The first years of his presence in Italy was the movement of a new kinetic in the field of abstract art, which is known as the things synonymous with Taoism, “The Art of the” Endless “and” other art “. Master Vaziri Moghaddam, in the 21st biennial of the World of Venice, was held in 1958, with a trace of the name: the Iranian city and exhibitions of many of his works were organized in the cities of Europe and Iran.

Master Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam, on Friday, September 6, 2018, at the age of 94, and after two years of combating the disease, he died in his home in Rome, Italy. Hammoun Waziri Moghaddam, the eldest son of the artist and director and founder of the Mohsen Waziri Moghaddam Foundation, said of his father Mohsen Waziri Moghaddam: “Although his father was old, they continued to create artwork for some of their lives.
