Hamid Nili, Director General of National Performing Arts, attended “Discovery of Puppets and Acting” workshop and honored Iraj Tahmasb.
According to Artmag.ir, quoted from IRNA, this educational workshop, taught by Iraj Tahmasb, a veteran actor and performer in Iran and active in the field of puppetry, was held on December 4th and 5th, thanks to efforts of Secretariat of 20th Tehran-Mobarak International Puppet Festival.
Amir Soltan Ahmadi, secretary of 20th Tehran – Mobarak International Puppet Show Festival, stated: “Holding educational workshops by reputable puppet show masters from Iran and world is one of side parts of this year’s festival, which we hope will help us achieve one of goals of this festival, namely improving quality of puppet shows.”
20th Tehran – Mobarak International Puppet Festival will be held in Tehran from December 16 to December 23, 1403.
his edition of Tehran – Mobarak International Puppet Show Festival will be held in following sections: stage plays for young and adult audiences, stage plays (for young and children), open-air plays, theater of nations, comprehensive, playwriting, 100-second section (cyberspace), and technical inventions and achievements.
20th festival will also feature specialized meetings, training and experience-sharing workshops, discussion sessions focused on criticism and review, etc. for those interested in puppet shows.
This festival is held under slogan “White Dream of Friendship”.
