Biography
Iam Azeri, but I was born in Khorramabad because of my father’s military job. At the age of 3, I developed polio and my limbs became incapacitated on both sides. With the care of my family and various treatments, my body was revived and I was able to stand up and walk with the help of a cane and plan for education and the future. In 1978, I entered the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran and received a bachelor’s degree in graphics in 1985. I have been working as a graphic designer and volume maker professionally for more than 30 years, and I have participated in many domestic and foreign exhibitions and received numerous awards. I got married many years ago and the result of my marriage is a daughter named Newsha who is a psychology student. I have published about 15 volumes of books, 13 of which are in the field of graphics and 2 of which are poetry. I am reviewing and implementing 3 books, one of which is Persian font design with a structure calligraphy. The other is the Quranic book in the form of poster illustrations, the main stages of which have been completed, and the third book is the design of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh myths, in the form of typography.. I also have two volumes of poetry books called Graphic Romance. In these books, I have expressed the experiences of three decades of graphic work, which is a crystallization of graphics and emotion in the form of words.
He has participated in many exhibitions of paintings, graphics and sculptures inside and outside Iran, including Japan, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Sweden. Among his works in the field of urban volumes, we can see the statue of the name of Hazrat Ali (AS) on Imam Ali Highway, the word: God, man, lover of iron, in the metro station in Haft Tir Square in Tehran, the statues of the city and the citizen, He mentioned the twenty cultural and artistic centers of Tehran Municipality and the first memorial for the disabled in Iran, which is installed in Mellat Park.

Illustration of the 70 Shahnameh Character in Poster format
Dariush Mokhtari, Illustration 70 has completed the Shahnameh character in the form of poster. He has used illustration, graphics and typography to design these posters. He has said about the worked method in these designs: in this work, I have used the design of the line and the logotyping. That is, the names of the Shahnameh characters are first converted to logotyping and then converted into the form. Master Dariush Mokhtari, works in the works of imagery and the Shahnameh typography without supporting governmental and private organizations, but believes that with public or private entities, the completion of this heavy project will be accompanied by a better ease and quality. He said in a Shahnameh for illustration, the Shahnameh is so much that I think that all artists can do a viable work. I also prepare myself that this work will become the last IRI to the effect of durability. Mokhtari, a designer of the name of Hazrat Ali (AS), is designing four major urban sculptures that are supposed to prepare these works for installation in large fields of Tehran city.
