The 841st Night of Bokhara Nights is dedicated to celebration Saeed Dastoori, a contemporary Iranian photographer and lighting specialist.
According to Artmag.ir, this meeting will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, with speeches by Seifollah Samadian, Alireza Karimi Saremi, Mehdi Falakhoui, Ghazal Dastoori, and Ali Dehbashi, in the Ostad Jalil Shahnaz Hall, located at the Iranian Artists Forum.
In this meeting, the professional life and works of Saeed Dastori will be reviewed through lectures by photography experts and veterans.
Saeed Dastoori was born on May 29, 1949 and graduated from the University of Tehran with a degree in Jurisprudence.
He has completed photography courses and specialized lighting workshops at Compton College in California and has held hundreds of training courses on photography, general lighting, portrait lighting, and portraits of personality expression.
Saeed Dastoori is a former lecturer at Khabar (News) University, Art University, Iranian Photographers’ House, and has taught photography at higher education institutions since 1979. He holds a Master of Arts degree in portrait photography.
