Release of a new album composed by Houshang Kamkar
Violinist Ali Jafari Pouyan is releasing the “Houshangan” violin concerto composed by Houshang Kamkar (composer) in his latest musical activity.
According to ISNA, Houshang Kamkar explained about the “Houshangan” project, which is to be distributed on international platforms from the middle of this week: “Houshangan Violin Concerto in the style of Iranian national music it has been composed in three movements in which the motifs of traditional Iranian music and Kurdish music have been used by combining the elements and techniques of Western classical music in such a way that its national identity is preserved. “Houshangan refers to my own name and that of the father of the violinist.”
Composer Houshang Kamkar, Violin soloist Ali Jafari Pouyan, Violin and Viola player Arsalan Kamkar, Violin cellist Negar Nourad, Siavash Kamkar (CIA Studio) Sound recording, Behrouz Zandi Tavassol (Sound Editing), Hami Haghighi (Mixing and Mastering), Farid Hamedi (Design and Graphics), Kambiz Bagheri from Art Group 17 (Photographer), Hamed Nikpei from Zang Records (Publisher) are the executive group of this album.
