Selected Iranian photographers at Corona Exhibition in Munich

The first prize of Corona Photography Exhibition in Munich, Germany, went to two Iranian photographers.

According to IRNA from the Asr Munich newspaper (Abendzeitung), Ali Haddadi Asl and Zohreh Salimi from Iran won the first prize at the Social Distancing & Empty Spaces exhibition, which was held on the theme of corona and quarantine at Pasinger Fabrik Art Center in Munich.

The collection of photographs of the two Iranian photographers shows what it feels like to live in a period when people in special clothes patrol the streets of the city in quarantine, tanks with disinfectant, and curfews have overshadowed everything. And so on. The atmosphere of Haddadi Asl and Salimi’s collection of photographs brought them the first prize of this photography competition.

Photographers from 37 countries had submitted their works to the Pasinger Fabric Center, and finally 70 photos from Tehran, Rome, New York, London, Kiev and some cities in Germany and Austria were accepted for display and competition in this exhibition. The works will be exhibited in three sections: Places, Humans and the Sign of Crisis, from October 21 at the gallery of the Pasinger Fabrik Cultural Center in Munich, entitled Empty Spaceshuttle & Social Distancing, and will run until November 29.
