In an interview with ISNA, Mohammad Ali Zolghadr, a veteran artist who has been working in the field of painting behind glass for nearly 30 years, said: “Ignoring art and artists is a pervasive issue and is not only related to our field.” . Lack of adequate equipment, lack of government support and lack of attention to artists are among the main problems that not only involve painting behind glass, but also many other disciplines.
He continued: “Also, those in charge do not have enough knowledge of art disciplines and on the other hand, there are not enough facilities.” I personally work because of my heart and the love I have for this work, if not unfortunately there is not the slightest care and attention to this art.
Zolghadr, who has been working in the field of painting behind glass since 1988, recalls: “There have been problems in all these years, but now they are more than before.” In addition to the fact that those in charge of these arts do not understand properly, there are people who do not have love and works are created that are not at a good level in terms of art.
He once again pointed to the lack of facilities and said: “For example, the museum behind the glass is so weak financially that it can not provide enough facilities for artists and the lack of facilities is a problem that has severely overshadowed the profession.” The museum must be dynamic so that artists can produce good works and buy good works. The works in the museum behind the glass are a relic of the past that take away intelligence, and this shows that these artists were supported and encouraged to be able to create such works.
