That is why I both paint and write poetry; But I’m basically a composer. “I do this because it is important and one has to get acquainted with other arts because all the arts are from the same family.”
Influenced by the color and form of Master Farshchian
Opera composer Rostam and Sohrab started painting 10 years ago. He says about his style in painting: “I do not have a style in painting, in fact, I do not follow a style and I bring what I feel to the canvas. Now God knows what style it is. I was very interested in painting and I collected all the paintings. I learned from painting and coloring how to turn them into orchestration and music. Until I thought of painting myself on the canvas the feeling of music I have, but I still say that I am not a painter. I work on the spur of the moment and some may or may not like it. It is something I do from my heart and it is not based on science and knowledge. My paintings are based on my feelings. In painting, I am inspired by literature, painting, sculpture and any art. Writers are also inspired by music. I am sure that if you talk to Master Farshchian, he will also listen to music. “I have a lot of devotion to him and I am always influenced by his color and form in painting.”
The composer says about the corona virus and the limitations caused by it: “Because I live alone, it does not make much difference to me; I have always been a house prisoner. I am not a “businessman”, I do not have an administrative job and I am not a salaried employee. Even before Corona, I had not been out for months. “The only effect was to take away my freedom and I could not go out whenever I wanted to.”
