Photojournalists were the voices of all those who were not seen
The Deputy Minister of Press and Information of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance considered knowledge as a common point of all Photojournalists and said: Photojournalists throughout the history of Iran were the voice of all those who were not seen and only love can provide the energy to be in this field.
Mohammad Khodadi in the ceremony of the fifth period of the Iranian Press Photo Award, called journalism a product of love and said: I emphasize to all young people who enter this field that if they are not in love, they will not last in this field.
Referring to the recording of moments of self-sacrifice by photographers, he said: “Those who record knowledge and humanity will live with knowledge, and blessed are you photographers, whose choice was human and your effort is for human beings.” In this way, it is not only destiny, but your will that has led to this destiny. If we live for human excellence, the human soul will be polished.
Khodadi called the group of photographers a valuable presence and said: “Our biggest problem in Iran is that we do individual work well, but in collective work our tolerance is low.” You must help each other to strengthen the country’s association of press photographers day by day, and this has no choice but for everyone to come and forgive. I believe that the street of love is one-sided and the street of forgiveness is one-sided. We must strengthen the association and do what our group in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance can do.
