Details and decorations have long been a part of Iranian architecture, and Ttiling, which is mixed with the art and technology of the time, has always been considered by Iranians as a decoration and a practical material.
In contemporary times, some Iranian architects and designers, although limited, have dealt well with the subject of details and have been able to provide a contemporary redefinition of architectural decorations in their works. But what characteristics can these materials have in relation to contemporary architecture and modern Iranian life?
What is the current reading of the Iranian “Tile” heritage?
The Beshko Ceramic and Tile design competition, based on a long-standing heritage, is the beginning of a way to seek to meet the needs of today and tomorrow in Iran.
Beshko seeks to establish a contemporary view and thinking on the subject of ceramic tile design by holding a competition and to be the beginning of a way that can show a new horizon to the construction industry and the ceramic and tile industry.
Deadline for submitting works:
Until September 26, 2021
Terms of submission of works:
– Presenting a maximum of 3 sheets related to the design presented in A2 size along with mentioning details and explanations.
– Presenting individual images of each design, in TIFF format and 300DPI resolution and in the original design size.
– The information does not mention any information about the participant.
– Providing the arrangement of designed tiles or ceramics is mandatory.
– If the presented designs are large, for example, a large piece of ceramic (slab), the designer can make the scale smaller.
– Please upload your files only as a zip file.

– 70 million Tomans, provided that the plan is produced according to the opinion of the jury

– 30 million Tomans, provided that the plan is produced according to the opinion of the jury
