Selected works of Vira Photo Festival will be displayed in Tehran and Paris
The secretary of Vira National Photo Festival, referring to the deadline for submitting works to the festival on December 8th, said: “With the cooperation of Saadabad National Art Gallery of Iran (Hamasa), the selected works of Vira Photo Festival will be exhibited in Tehran and Paris.”
According to Artmag.ir quoted by IRNA, the second Vira National Photo Festival with the theme of “Iran Zamin Handicrafts” is being held and the deadline for submitting works to the festival secretariat with an extension period will end on December 8th. This festival tries to motivate producers and entrepreneurs of handicrafts by looking at the interactive impact of tourism and handicrafts on each other, in addition to spreading public awareness and drawing the attention of different communities to the tangible and intangible heritage of Iran.
Madiheh Jamali, Managing Director of Vira Awareness House (Vira Tourism House) and Secretary of Vira National Photo Festival, said: “This festival aims to flip the tourism community to become aware of the overt and covert capacities to attract tourists. Jamali added: “In the second period, we expanded our activities. During the festival, the Saadabad National Art Gallery of Iran (Hamasa) also joined the festival and was appointed, fter the introduction of the winners, the selected works of the festival will be exhibited in this gallery in early December 22, and a certificate will be awarded by the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.
The secretary of Vira National Photo Festival said: “In these two periods, the audience of Vira Festival is domestic artists, but next year we plan to launch the international part of the festival for Iranians abroad and foreigners interested in Iran or tourists who have experienced travel to Iran.” . During this period, we planned to show selected photos in galleries abroad, which in collaboration with Hamasa Gallery, some of the selected works of the Viera Festival will be exhibited in Paris after being shown in Tehran.
The director of Vira Tourism House explained: “Holding an exhibition abroad will be an excuse to hold the festival internationally from next year and receive photos from foreign artists with topics in the field of heritage, culture, tourism and handicrafts.”
Jamali said about awarding the festival prizes: to the first to third persons of the adult section, competition statue, plaque of honor, festival book and cash prizes (5 million Tomans) and to the first to third persons of the children and adolescent section (student) of the competition statue, plaque of honor , Festival books and cash prizes will be awarded. Due to the fact that some handicraft artists sent photos of their works, but these images are not professional photographs, but due to their artistic status, gifts are also considered for these people.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Vira National Photo Festival had announced a call: The second Vira National Photo Festival with the theme “Iran Zamin Handicrafts” in two sections for adults (professionals and amateurs) and children and adolescents (students) by the Vira Awareness House (Home Vira Tourism will be held in November and December.
