Graduates of Iranian Youth Cinema Society became owners of center

Mehdi Azarpandar, CEO of Iranian Youth Cinema Society and secretary of 39th Tehran International Short Film Festival, said at Iranian Youth Cinema Society Alumni Conference: The impact of short cinema is much greater than that of feature length cinema.

I must say, the support that the Iranian Youth Cinema Society provides to its members and filmmakers is unparalleled, and I will never forget how much administrators and members of society followed my condition during this period of illness that I was recently involved in. My only happiness is continuity and progress of this center and this community.

Mehdi Azarpandar, CEO of Iranian Youth Cinema Society and secretary of 39th Tehran International Short Film Festival, said: All people who are present in this group are really important people. When it was decided to hold first conference of this center at festival, our view was that this center should be seen better and more correctly, any excuse that makes us gather together is important and our best work in this situation is this. to show our presence more brightly than before; This is work that comes from me as the CEO of Iranian Youth Cinema Society, because this is the duty of society.

After speeches of CEO of Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Habib Ilbeigi, the deputy director of supervision and evaluation of cinema organization, said: “I am happy to be present in this gathering today as a person who is not a student, but as a person who attended Iranian Youth Cinema Society for 2 periods. I would like to congratulate Mehdi Azarpandar for making this happen and I must say how important this center is.

He continued: Many of current problems of Iran, are rooted in fact that there is no such organization and organization at its various levels, and I wish there was an approach and perspective like Iranian Youth Cinema Society in Iran, and this lack causes many weaknesses in Iran. has been If Iranian cinema has a place now, it is due to the existence and establishment of Iranian Youth Cinema Society.  At the end of this ceremony, cards of 2 members of Iranian Youth Cinema Society alumni association were handed over to their representatives from Dezful and Qom offices by Mehdi Azarpandar, Habib Ilbeigi and Yazdan Ashiri, and then cards of other members of this association, including Saeid Rahimi Foroutan from Arak office Alireza Bakhtian from Najafabad office, Taher Baratchian from Ardabil office, Davood Dadmarzi from Tehran office, Ehsan Namazizadeh from Tehran office, Mohammad Kazem Rezvani from Qom office, Rahber Ghanbari from Karaj office, Javad Tamizkar from Lahijan office, Ahad Karimi from Qom office, Ali Bitarafan from the office of Qom and… was also given to their representatives.

The 39th Tehran International Short Film Festival, under direction of Mehdi Azarpandar, is being held from October 19th to 24th, 2022, at Mellat Cinema Campus.
