Ahmadreza Sohrabi, an artist from Fars province in Iran, won third prize in graphic design section of Qoqnous Ghalam (Qoqnous Pen) media campaign, commemorating 140 journalists killed in Gaza.
According to Artmag.ir, this campaign was organized by Deputy of media affairs and publicity of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and 700 works in national section and 200 works in international section were sent to secretariat of this festival.
Ahmadreza Sohrabi, has won 70 prizes from national and international competitions and festivals, in the field of caricature and press, including first prize of the international cartoon competition “Fax for Peace” in Italy, first prize of 2nd international cartoon festival “Smile of Novorossiysk Sea » Russia, first place of celebration of young journalists of Iran and press festival of Persian Gulf, and high award of Nanjing Festival of China.
As a cartoonist, he works with Iran and Asre Mardom newspapers.
