First Tehran Photo Festival, will be held at the same time as 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival, directed by Farhad Soleymani.
According to Artmag.ir citing public relations of Iranian Youth Cinema Society, the Iran Photo Agency is holding the Tehran Photo Festival in a competitive manner at the same time as 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival.
Photo side section, which was held as a non-competitive exhibition in previous editions of Tehran International Short Film Festival, will be held for first time in 41st edition of festival, with an independent director under title “Tehran Photo Festival”.
First period of Tehran Photo Festival, with goals of creating a suitable platform for growth and excellence of photographers, creating a context for communication and interaction of photographers and providing a platform for transfer of experience and providing possibility of selling works of photographic artists, in line with support of participating photographers and in two main sections With theme of “Freedom” and next to theme of “Iranian youth”, it accepts works of artists.
Farhad Soleymani, secretary and Mohammad Rauf Shahbazi, executive secretary of first Tehran Photo Festival, and Majid Dokhtechizadeh, Mahmoud Kalari and Seyed Abbas Mirhashmi, are members of selection and judging committee of this event.
This festival also has a market section.
Those interested can register and send their works through system of Tehran International Short Film Festival at address: festival.iycs.ir from Wednesday 19 June to 20 August 2024.
First Tehran Photo Festival will be held at same time as 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival, on October 18th to November 24nd, 2024, at Mellat Cineplex.
