Biography
He was introduced to classical and world music from the age of 19 at the Tehran Opera under the supervision of Evelyn Baghtcheban, Mr. Samin Baghcheban and Nosratollah Zabli, and continued with the opera for about five years. Later, he developed a deep friendship with Mohammed Oshal, composer and leader of the Folk Jazz Orchestra, which led to the continuation of our harmony and company. Poet and songwriter and playwright Iraj Jannati Atai, who continued to sing along to Babak Bayat from childhood until the revolution, played a significant role in the lives of Bayat and his family, making this song many songs. Including: Stranger, Forest, Dead End, House, Underwater Shout, Ali Minecraft, Flurry, Khatun, Shadow, Sagittarius (Eastern Lady), Gray Season (Honorable Soul), Roof, Nobody Like You, Scout Mondini) and many other songs. Late Bayat, he was not afraid to say his past life and had no fear of expressing it.. From the neighborhoods south of Tehran and from acquaintance with Iraj Janati Atai in these neighborhoods. After Mani, Babak possessed another boys named: Bamdad and Barbod. His daughter’s name is Ghazal. In the third period of the year of the Persian Music festival, the commemoration of four artists was held, including: Babak Bayat, and their families were appreciated with the donation of the Memorial Trophy. The ceremony was held in the Persian Gulf Hall of Niavaran Art Foundation in December 2017.
Master Babak Bayat died on December 26, 2006, due to liver failure and was buried in the pieces of Behesht-e Zahra artists.
Interview
In an interview with Nasim Haraz Monthly, he described the birth of his father as a ten-year-old mammon, now a city.
He said: “My father was from around Tehran and had come to Tehran at the age of 16. Around Tehran, where it did not reach Saveh, was a place called Mammonieh, where the airport is now near Mamounieh. Only ten Persians were there. His name also comes from mum meaning mother. There were dozens of others around, all of whom were Turkic speakers, such as Qassim Abad and so on. The ten that my father was from were all Persians. Original Iranians spoke. According to him about his real name: I had a very long name and family name: Ali Hussein Bayat Zarandi Absolute. As I got older, I picked up Zarandi and became an absolute stalemate and I chose a nickname for myself, Babak. I became Babak Bayat and everyone knew me by that name.
Honors
Babak Bayat in the year 1990, after a few times the candida for film music, finally this year, when the five candidates of the film were announced three times his name was received by Fajr’s Crystal Simorgh prize for the bride’s film. Also, in 1996, when it was announced between four candidates, he received a crystal Simorgh again. In the House of cinema also received for the Witch Movie, the first prize was the music of the film. In 2002, at a ceremony held in Shiraz, Babak Bayat and four other great artists in Iran were honored. Composing
