The awarding of “Lotfi Badge” to music artists, in memory of Master Mohammad Reza Lotfi, a famous Iranian music artist, was approved.

Based on this, the “Lotfi Badge” is supposed to be awarded every two years to selected and outstanding artists in the field of music.

 Previously, in the field of culture, “Dehkhoda Badge”, as the most prestigious badge in this field, has been awarded to cultural activists, and now “Lotfi Badge”, will be the highest badge that will be awarded to prominent activists in the field of music and art. will be given.

Master Mohammad Reza Lotfi, is one of the most prominent Iranian composers and musicians who contributed important and influential works to the treasury of Iranian music. Sepideh or Iran is a place of hope, Karvan Shahid, Saraye Bi Kesi, and Darvak are some of the lasting and unforgettable works of this artist.

He died on Friday morning, May 2, 2014, due to cancer at the age of 67, in Pars Hospital in Tehran.

The release of numerous albums, in collaboration with masters such as Mohammad Reza Shajarian, a collection of audio works under the name of Chavash, and the establishment of the Sheyda Music Group, are among the most important activities of this well-known master of traditional Iranian music.

The 15th National Music Festival of Iran, with the support of the Music Office of the Vice-Chancellor of Artistic Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, by the Iran Music Association and the cooperation of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Golestan Province, will be held in Gorgan until November 18, 2022.
