Iranian Illustrators Society, started commemorating 20th year of its establishment and continuous activity with artists and lovers of illustration art, in form of an exhibition of works of its continuous members at Iranian Artists Forum.
According to Artmag.ir, 20th anniversary ceremony of Iranian Illustrators Society will be held on Friday, April 5, from 5:00 p.m. in the hall of Master Shahnaz, house of Iranian Artists Forum, with a series of speeches and visual messages by veteran teachers and illustrators and activists in the field of children’s and youth literature, commemorative teasers and music performances. began and Parisa Behabadi was in charge of the ceremony.
Then, works of 180 artists, which have been displayed in galleries of Master Momayez, Zemestan(Winter), Paeez(Autumn), and Mirmiran Iranian Artists Forum, were opened by the veterans of illustration and were displayed to public until April 15, 2024.
In this exhibition, works of artists such as Noureddin Zarrinkelk, Parviz Kalantari, Faridah Shahbazi, Nira Taqvi, Mohammad Ali Bani Asadi, Abolfazl Hemmatiahoi, Fatemeh Radpour, Atiyeh Markazi, Morteza Ismail Sohi, Manli Manouchehri, Pejman Rahimizadeh, Kamal Tabatabai, Kivan Asgari, Hoda Haddadi, Mehkame Shabani and… have been displayed along with other illustrators of the association.
Other side activities of Illustrators Association in its 20th year include one-day workshops on illustration techniques with the cooperation and support of Primo Brand for regular and affiliated members. Teasers of conversation-based podcasts with illustrators were also unveiled at the opening ceremony.
According to Mahboobeh Yazdani, head of the Board of Directors of Illustrators Association, these podcasts include interviews with founders and the past boards of directors of the association, which will be made available to interested parties in cooperation with the Arez podcast from May of this year.
The policy-making council of this event was composed of Ali Bouzari, Mahboobeh Yazdani, Kianoush Gharibpour, Hannane Malekpour, Hadith Jazayeri, Najla Mahdavi-Ashraf and Meghdad Sadati.
It is possible to visit the exhibition from Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 21:00.
The design of the visual identity including the poster, logo and uniform of this event was done by Kianoush Gharibpour.
