Biography
At age of 12, his first graphic work was published on the cover of a story book, and at 16, he caricatures political world of press. This illustrator books children and teenagers, first published their effectiveness in the second year of high school and since then began his professional career. The professional illustration of Zarrinkelk, with painting for the Comic Tales of Iraj Pezeshkzad, named: Mashallah Khan in the court of Haaron al-Rashid began. Illustration in the Kayhan Journal of Kids and Youth Information and collaboration with Franklin Publishing Institute, illustration of textbooks of first classes to fourth elementary school and commissioning of the first animation schools in Iran in two levels of graduate and Master degree is a part of Zarrinkelk’s work. He finished high school in Tehran and entered the University of Tehran in 1955. In 1961, he received his pharmaceutical doctor and worked with a degree in the Army clinic. Calligraphy and paintings were initiated by father and in parallel with the formal studies in Kamal-ol-Molk School of Education and the presence of professed such as Mahmood Olia, Mohammad Ali Zavieh and Mohammad Mehrdan. In 1956, he was accepted at the University of Fine Arts, but the system rules prevented him from entering. Master Zarrinkelk, from 1961 to 1971, went to the illustrated textbooks and pocket books, and then invited the intellectual development of children and teenagers to Belgium to learn animation filmmaking. In 1974, the first school of animation was established in Iran, and three years later opened a field of animation at Farabi University (Art University of Today). This artist is from the courses of Farshid Mesghali, Ali Akbar Sadeghi, Morteza Momayez and Arapik Baghdasarian, which revolutionized the intellectual development of children and adolescents in the light and hampered of making animated films. He was invited to the Kanun, proposes Firuz Shiravanloo from the colleagues of Franklin Institute, to the Center for the visualization of child and adolescent books. The Crows were the first book to be ordered for illustration.

Holding the Festival of children and adolescents in the late 1961, it was effective in organizing the cinematic affairs section, and after holding the first Festival in 1969, Zarrinkelk was dispatched to Belgium in the Academy of Fine Arts in the town of the city, in the field of learning animation. In Belgium, he made two films of the first Task in 1971 and the playground with the Bush (1971), and after returning to Iran in 1972, he worked at the center of the cinema. Both films won foreign festivals. He was a film club: the Al-Mohamque (1974), the Association of 1974, The Crazy Mad World (1975), Amirhamzeh Deldar, and Gur Delgir (1977), A Tight Eye of Denyadar (1982) and Superpower (1988). Many of these films took a major prize from domestic and foreign festivals. Sinbad, one of the last works of Zarrinkelk is the thing that was left in Hollywood, and it was the art director. After that 17-minute animation: Was to build and illustration for The Molla Nasreddin Stories book.

Since 1871, he was the center of the intellectual development of children and teenagers to make animated films that their first: Tadai and the next: Atal Matal Tootoole. Then It’s a Mad, Mad World and Feature film called: Amirhamzeh. Zal and Simorgh, The Story of a Fairy Tale, The story of Silk Worms, Nodays and Kites, Cyrus the King, when I was a Kid, Zal and Ruqah, the Alfbast legends, If I Could, the first of the work, a versatile home, the Elephant and cup theorem, and the water, including the works of the Zarrinkelk’s Bookgraphy for children’s books and Teen.
