The Dragon Treasure animated film, directed by Ashkan Rahgozar, entered the Mifa Peaches section (Bazaar) of the Annecy French International Animation Festival.
According to ISNA, the Dragon Treasure animated film directed by Ashkan Rahgozar and co-produced by Arman Rahgozar and Alireza Kabiri along with seven other cinematic animations from the United States, France, Germany, Denmark, Mexico, Indonesia and Latvia to the Mifa Peaches section of French Annecy International Animation Festival accepted.
Accordingly, 433 animation projects from all over the world applied to participate in this section, of which only eight works entered the section in the cinematic animation section. The Mifa Pitches section provides animators with the opportunity to present their projects to professional audiences including producers, distributors, distributors and investors. Prizes will also be awarded to Mifa Peaches winners for supporting their productions.
Hoorakhsh Studio was previously accepted in this section with the cinematic animation of Last Story in 2013. The presence of the Last Story in this section was the first appearance of Iranian animation cinema in The Annecy Festival, which was repeated with the release of the Dragon Treasure.
The cinematic animation of the dragon treasure with two-dimensional technique is being produced in Hoorakhsh Studio with the participation of Mystic House (Canada). Ashkan Rahgozar and Aida Noshali also co-wrote the script of this animation.
The summary of the story of this animation is as follows: Sayeh is an eight-year-old girl who goes to find the dragon treasure to save her grandmother’s village from drought, but she does not know that the real treasure is water that must flow again in the dried aqueducts of the village.
The production of this animation has started in early 2020 and will continue for another six months. The Dragon Treasure movie animation is expected to be ready for 2022.
The 60th edition of the Annecy International Animation Festival 2021 will be held online from June 14 to 19\ 2021.
