‘War and Peace’ to be held in Saba

The group exhibition of visual arts entitled “War and Peace” will start on Wednesday, December 29, at the Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute affiliated to Academy of Arts.

According to the Artmag, this exhibition has been set up in line with the goals of peace-friendly art and a worthy visual display of the cultural capacities of Iranian artists with about 200 works by 120 artists from all over Iran.

It is worth mentioning that this event will be hosted by visual arts enthusiasts in the fields of painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, mosaic tiles and calligraphy under the supervision of Helia Salmani and Nima Nourbakhsh, an art-media consultant.

In this exhibition, the works of young artists along with the works of veterans and art professors and some of the prominent Iranian artists in two thematic sections of war, peace and freedom will be displayed.

Among the masters present in this exhibition, we can mention Behzad Shishegaran, Nasrollah Afjaei, Ghobad Shiva, Akbar Nikanpour, Arman Estepanian, Niloufar Ghaderinejad, Aneh Mohammad Tatari, and Helia Salmani.

Also, other artists such as Saber Soleimani, Behdad Najafi Asadollahi and Abdolreza Ettihad, along with a large number of young people and Iranian artists, will exhibit their works in this exhibition.

On opening day, two performances by Alireza Ghojari and Maryam Borhani Khomami with theme of peace and an art workshop will be performed at exhibition, where three selected works will be awarded prizes.

Those who are interested can visit this exhibition on Wednesdays and Thursdays (December 29 and 30) by visiting Ayneh Gallery, located in Saba Institute, located in Tehran, Valiasr St., Taleghani St., Shahid Baradaran Mozaffar St., No. 125.
