Biography
He started his activism in the cinema since 1970. His first artistic experience was painting, and at the age of 18 he was able to win an award in a contest. Shortly after this success, he was accepted at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University. At the university he further paid to learn drawing and graphic design. While studying the cost of living as police driving tips worked. In 1961 the decade 1960, Kiarostami has been paid as a propaganda painter in Studio 7 and one of two other institutions to design books, posters and commercials. And later he went to film. He is also receiving 32 Personal achievement, Iran’s most prestigious artist. From 1962 to 1966, he has gone 150 ads for Iran television. From him two sons named: Ahmad born 1971 and Bahman born 1978. His second child, Bahman Kiarostami, was at the age 1993 of 15, the director of the film and the director and documentary: A Journey to the traveler’s land. Kia Rostami used dark glasses because of the sensitivity of his eyes to light.
