Biography
He is a critic, journalist and cinema translator. He is one of the three founders and current secretary of the Film Writers’ Council, the oldest film magazine after the Islamic Revolution. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Tehran with a degree in Cinema and Television. He has also appeared on several prestigious festivals as a member of the jury. Gang’s famous documentary is one of his compositions. Master Houshang Golmakani, in the workshop: Pathology of Criticism in Iranian Cinema, which was held in 2018; He pointed to the harms of cyberspace in the field of critique and said: “In the writings that are seen as criticism in cyberspace, there is a point to consider, that is,” I am a person “in the first sense of the singular person is often seen in writings. This “personal self” is more colorful in writing than film criticism. In fact, they still don’t know the difference between public and private media. Of course, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with having personal feelings in writing, but in many cases we see that these personal feelings are obvious at the outset; However, the actor or “I am a person” has to write in the press for many years in order to know his audience and his pen and gain credibility, and finally be recognized as a pen critic.
