Karim Akbari Mobarakeh died

Karim Akbari Mobarakeh, who played the role of Ibn Muljam in the series “Imam Ali (AS)”, died due to coronary heart disease.

According to an IRNA cultural group report on Thursday, cinema director Fereydoun Jirani announced the death of Karim Akbari Mobarakeh.

The board of directors of the Iran Theater House also announced in a message: The news is unfortunate and painful. We learned that the sweet artist Mr. Karim Akbari Mobarakeh has passed away. We offer our condolences to the Iranian theater artists and their families. May their place be safe with the righteous.

Karim Akbari Mobarakeh, born on June 7, 1943 in Tehran, was an Iranian actor and director of cinema and theater.

His most famous roles in cinema have been the leading role in the film Death of Yazdgerd (Bahram Beizai 1979) and in television the role of Ibn Muljam Moradi in the series Imam Ali (Davood Mirbagheri 1996 – 1991) and Ahmar Ibn Shamit in the series Mokhtarnameh (Davood Mirbagheri 2003 – 2009). This artist died on November 29, 2016 due to coronary heart disease.
