Biography
He spent his education in Jahan Tarbiat Primary School and Alborz High School in Tehran. In most sports activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, swimming and all school programs were active from childhood and during the entire period of study. According to herself, Summer was also around the house to be friends of football. Because of his interest in football, he joined the Alborz High school football team, which resulted in the persistence and efforts of his friends, Tehran’s championship. Dr. Vahid Ghobadian, a multi-house design in America, remembers its first work experience. He is the most important place of his life, departure to the United States, as well as the change in the field of civil engineering, defending the thesis of his Ph.D. who has also been published as a book and married. He traveled to the United States in 1975 to continue his education in the course of construction. Following the interest of a friend to the architecture, he was also interested in this field, and after three years, he changed his field of study from civil to architecture which sought in 1983 of Ohio State University’s master degree in architecture. In 1980, he won Max Black Award for the best design ideas from the American Catholic University in Washington city. In the years 1982 and 1983, the educational assistant was a solar building course at Ohio State University. In 1984, he returned to Tehran in the year, and at the same time, he began teaching at Bu-Ali Sina University, and at the very beginning, the faculty member of the University. In 1989, Mr. Dr. Hariri and the training of climatic topics, also Dr. Etesam’s assistant in contemporary architecture and continued teaching at the University of Fine Arts at the same time. In 1997, he was a member of the faculty of Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. In the year 2000, he earned a doctorate in architecture from Islamic Azad University by presenting his thesis titled The Architecture of Naser Shah in Tehran.
From 1985 to 2001, he made students travel and image to all parts of Iran. Contemporary architecture and climatic issues have always been of interest to him. In the year 1993 translated the book of Climatic design as one of the first published books inside the country with the topic of traditional Iranian climatic studies, which has reached the thirteenth edition. The book of traditional sustainable buildings in Iran has been published by him and in English.
In 2002, it came to the membership of IEA International Energy Agency. In 2005, the international branch of the Azad University was invited to the University of Dubai and it is working since 2006 as the head of the architecture group in the university. In 1993, we conducted the translation of the Book of Climatic design. The Book of Climatic investigation of traditional Iranian buildings was published in 1998, which has reached the sixth edition. Dr. Ghobadian, the Book of Principles and concepts in contemporary Western architecture that has also reached the seventeenth edition, has completed in 2003. The translation of the book Architecture of Cosmic Jump took place in 2003 that the book has reached the third edition. Also, the Book of Architecture in the Darkhalfeh Nasseri, tradition and modernity in contemporary architecture of Tehran was published by his efforts in 2003.
He is currently teaching and working in the University of Dubai, and it takes three weeks to spend a month. At the time of one week, despite the need to address personal and family issues, they are engaged in the promotion of students ‘ knowledge and architecture of Iran.
