Biography
He finished his secondary education in Alborz High School and graduated in architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University. He worked with several consulting engineers during his academic studies. Since 1992, his independent office of Architecture was formed. He has accomplished several projects in the cultural, administrative, residential and industrial spheres. The most indicators of the building, design and reconstruction of the Iranian artists ‘ house and the development plan of the complex. Master Shafei, also from the founders and officials of the Department of Architecture in Iran in the year 1983. Bijan Shafei, Victor Daniel and Sohrab Sarsheyani, have published three books in connection with the architecture of the period of change in Iran called “Nikolai Markov’s architecture,” “Karim Taherzadeh Behzad” and “Architecture Vartan Hovanessian”. And also, the study group has formed “Architecture of Changing Times”.
He is the CEO of the design and construction of Khaneh Haft Mah (Seven Months House) since 1993, and also the director of the cultural department of Iranian Architects and cofounder of the Memar (Architec) Film House.
