His father, Mosa Maroufi, was one of Darwish Khan’s favorite students and a great musician of his time. Javad Maroufi studied at the National Conservatory of Music at the age of eight, when he was director of the National Conservatory of Music. He switched to piano and, with Ms. Tatiana Kharatian, learned the technique of classical piano playing. Javad Maroufi skillfully played the Frédéric Chopin’s Atodes and Preludes, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Sonatas, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, and Bach’s Fugues. Along with classical music, he continued Iranian music and completed music studies with Ali Naqi Vaziri. At the age of eight, he married Shams El Zaman. The marriage resulted in four children: Manouchehr, Shokouh al-Zaman (Giti), Jila and Farhad. Throughout his life he tried to reconcile Western and traditional music. At the age of 9 and in year 2, he was hired by the Ministry of Culture and Art for a great talent in music. He joined the institute since the age of eight, when he opened the radio, and has been a solo pianist for many years. From 1, he was appointed Music Director of the Radio and at the same time joined the Supreme Music Council. Maroufi was also the leader of the number one orchestra and the orchestra of flowers. He has composed the songs of Ali Akbar Sheyda, Aref Ghazvini, Rokneddin Mokhtari and Darvish Khan and many other famous Iranian composers.

He said: “Since the establishment of the radio in 1919, I’ve also been involved there. At the time I was not of age, but I was both a piano player and the number one orchestra leader. The first year the radio was established, the first radio orchestras included the following musicians: Abolhassan Saba, Habib Samaei, Hossein Tehrani, Morteza Neidood and myself. Later, when the flower program was established, I became the conductor of the orchestra and was a piano and soloist. I also arranged for the orchestra of flowers.

In adapting the piano for Iranian music, he adopted the style of the mayor of Moshir Homayoun more than Morteza Mahjubi, but had a unique and unique style in which the technique was evident. He worked in the field of composing for more than forty years. Maroufi and his father are among the first to create and arrange pieces for Iranian piano. The first piece by Javad Maroufi, Khayyam’s songs, was based on Khayyam’s quatrains, which was performed in year 6. Among the cultural and educational services of Master Javad Maroufi, the years of teaching at the University of Tehran can be mentioned. At the time, he was teaching how to make original songs and forms of music. During his life at the University of Tehran and the High School of Music, he trained many students, including Ardashir Rouhani, Aflia Parto, Anoushirvan Rouhani, Parviz Atabeig (Atabaki), Mahin Zarrin Panjeh (musician and composer living in France) and Sasan Mohebbi and … are among these artists.

Quoting Master Javad Maroufi: My style is played by Anoushirvan Rouhani, Ardeshir Rouhani, Aflia Parto, Mahin Zarin Panjeh and Sasan Mohebbi. They were good students of mine. They know both Iranian and Western music. We teach Iranian music to students when it is fluent in classical music. Because classical music strengthens the hand and strengthens the reading. We will teach him Iranian music later, because Iranian music has a detailed technique.

During his artistic career, he has composed beautiful songs that are still considered among the top pieces of Iranian music, but he himself liked Fantasy: Gila. The first thing he wrote and sang for the orchestra was Dillman, sung by Ghulam Hussein Banan. Deilman is in the plain, and its four pilgrims are made by master Abul Hassan Saba. Among the pieces he made, Rhapsody of Isfahan and Fantasy Gila are most famous. His other pieces are made of rock and roll. In his years of work, he was able to create an innovative course in Iranian piano playing that covered the corners of traditional Iranian music; hence, it is possible to speak of a well-known school that transformed and promoted The process of innovation in music has led. He skillfully played the Chopin Atodas and Perlods, the Mozart Sonas, Beethoven, Schubert, and Bach’s Fogues, and continued with Iranian music; therefore, he used a well-known piano and other styles and styles. The tastes of the moderns and the go-goers were also welcome.

In addition to playing, he was unaware of arranging for the orchestra as well as composing, but since the tuners were scarce at the time, the role of his arrangement became increasingly important and eliminated the shortcomings. A very prominent work was the arrangement of Iranian songs for the performance with the big orchestra. He made the most of his efforts in arranging the songs of legitimacy, especially the hymns of mysticism and mysticism. To put it bluntly, half of these songs are the most enduring of the songs because of their popularity. He even brought some less valuable songs to his tuning workshop and added to their value. Javad Marofi was famous for making and paying as much as he was for playing. His plays sometimes resonate with a sonorous sound. In his method, the left hand plays a separate role from the right hand and merges the mild harmony of the melodies.

An interest in the conservatory still kept him in the educational environment.
