Ali Akbar Saremi

Biography
He finished high school at Shariati School in Zanjan. In 1968, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, majoring in architecture. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania for a doctorate. His doctoral dissertation was written under the tutelage of his teacher Louis Conn. After returning to Iran, Saremi worked in architectural office of Sardarafakhmi and in 1980, he established his personal office, Tajir Consulting Engineers. In addition to teaching at Tehran University, he has published articles in prestigious architectural journals around the world. Membership in Tehran University Architectural Engineers Association, Membership in Tehran Province Building Engineering System Organization, Membership in the Association of Architectural and Urban Planning Consulting Engineers, Membership in Society of Architectural Engineers of Iran, Chairman of Board of Directors of Tajir Consulting Engineers since 1980, Lecturer at Islamic Azad University, Member In the board of trustees of the Association of Honored Architects of Iran, the lecturer of Farabi University, 1976 – 1980, lecturer of University of Tehran, 1997 – 1994, are among the activities of this architect.
