Abbas Nematollahi poster creator of Qeysar movie has died
Abbas (Soroush) Nematollahi, a veteran painter, graphic artist, poster and logo designer, died this morning (Sunday, October 11) at the age of 91.
Sasan Nematollahi, the son of this artist, confirmed this news and said: My father was the grandson of Mohammad Ibrahim Khan Naghash Bashi, a painter whose portrait of Amir Kabir is one of his most important works.
He added: Abbas Nematollahi had designed the posters of several films, including “Qaysar” and the logo of Golestan Tea, and the magazines “Zan Rooz” and “Roshanfekr”.
In addition to his grandfather, Abbas Nematollahi’s father and uncles were all artists and painters.
According to Sasan Nematollahi, the artist’s son, Abbas Nematollahi began his artistic career with miniatures and then emigrated to Tehran with Reza Arham Sadr’s brother, designing stage and decor design in the theater for a while, after which he entered the field of graphics and logo design.
