Biography
He was born from a teacher’s mother and a photographer’s father. He graduated with a degree in mathematics in 1967 and a master’s degree in architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran. He began his career in graphics in 1968. Master Haghighi has been a member of the Children’s Illustrators Association, the International Association of Graphic Designers (AGI), the Iranian Graphic Designers Guild, the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association, and a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Guild until 2003 and the eighth biennial secretary of the Tehran Poster this year. He has collaborated in the production of several 8 mm films in Tehran’s open-air cinema and in the production of “The One Who Dreamed and Didn’t Act”. Collaboration with the graphics department of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents and making 35 mm documentaries “Third Summer Festival”, “Teacher of all the children of the tribe”, “Teacher’s Day” and “Social Workers” can also be considered as a fruitful record. . The establishment of the Iranian Graphic Designers Guild Association with Mr. Momayez, Mr. Shiva and Mr. Mirza Alikhani is another of his activities. He has been a master of graphics at the University of Tehran, Farabi University, the University of the Arts, the Higher School of Television and Cinema, and the Azad University (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) since 1979. In addition to collaborating with many magazines, such as Talash, Adineh, Donya e-Sokhan, and authoring books such as Signs, Baroon, and Seven Colors He has also designed the scenes for films and series such as Sarbadaran, Soltan and Shaban, and has made subtitles for movies and TV series. The titles of the films City of Mice, Narges, I Taraneh are fifteen years old, Women’s Prison and the Tenth Night TV series, The English Bag, The Memorable Days and 2 of his compositions. In 2006, Haghighi published a collection of his theater posters, which he designed between 1969 and 2005, in book form.
