The program “Hezare Adab Parsi” is broadcast on Farhang Radio with aim of introducing celebrities of Persian literature, narrated by Behrouz Razavi.
According to ISNA, “Hezare Adab Parsi” is name of a 1,000-episode program that airs on Radio Farhang from November 25, at 11 pm, and airs every week – from Saturday to Wednesday – on the radio network for fans. To get acquainted with the ups and downs of Persian literature from the beginning until today.
The content of this program is written and arranged by Mohammad Baqer Rezaei, one of the veteran radio writers. Rezaei explained to ISNA about this program: “What is reviewed in the” Hezare Adab Parsi “program is generally based on the valuable book” History of Literature in Iran “by the late Dr. Zabihollah Safa and the books of the late Yahya Arianpour (from Saba to Nima and from Nima to our time). “Of course, other works by various researchers that have been used by students and enthusiasts for years will also be used in this program.”
Rezaei added: “For example, some issues of this program (which include programs numbers 32 to 37) will be about Khayyam.” Any researcher who has written an article about the sage Omar Khayyam and looked at it fairly and logically, we will use the flower of that article (even if it is written with a different opinion) under the name of that researcher.
According to Rezaei, in this series of programs, a special issue is raised every night. For example, a preface to the history of literature in Iran, the beginning of efforts to unite the word among Muslims, the formation of science, Pahlavi literature, and the Dari dialect include the topics of the first to fifth programs.
The editor of literary programs added: The flourishing of the Persian language, the developments of Persian literature, the lives of individual Persian poets and writers, their attitude to life and time, the perspective from which they looked at poetry and writing, their approach to other types of sciences and arts , The works they created in various fields, the characteristics of the time in which they lived, the opinions of others about their personality and work, are included as sub-topics, each of which will contain a specific program.
Rezaei explained that the “Millennium of Persian Literature” is supposed to start from early writers and poets and reach contemporaries: The great works of Iranian literature (such as Badi-ol-Zaman Forouzanfar, etc.) about aspects of contemporary literature and the views of reformist critics (such as Abdul Ali Dastghib, etc.) about new currents in contemporary literature will be used. Also, with prominent professors of literature in prestigious universities in Iran, in the field of consulting for this program, negotiations have been held and their expert and supervisory opinions will be used in a long-term cooperation.
The audio versions of this program, which is accompanied by archival speeches by professors and writers participating in radio programs of different eras, will be made available to the public, especially students, on a large scale after being broadcast on Radio Farhang and especially Persian speakers outside of Iran.
