Theater people risked their lives for the survival of the stage
The chairman of the board of the Theater House said: that art has always been influential and has its charms, it is thought-provoking and it leads its audience to a new path, which happens to be very effective in the days of Corona: Theater people risked their lives for the survival of the stage.
Iraj Rad, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the House of Iranian Artists and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Theater House, while attending the meeting of the members of this council, visited 6 exhibitions held at the House of Iranian Artists.
On the sidelines of the visit, he expressed satisfaction with the reopening of the exhibitions after the Corona outbreak and the flow of this house as a cultural hangout for artists and art audiences. Provides artists and audiences, and watching works of art conveys energy and a sense of freshness to its residents.
Art has always been influential and has its charms, art is thought-provoking and guides its audience in a new way, which happens to be very effective in the days of Corona. However, maintaining the health of the people and the audience must always be considered along with the reactivation of the exhibitions.
In theaters, spacing is observed to maintain the health of the audience
Rad pointed out: The exhibitions of the House of Iranian Artists in the fields of painting, photography and other visual arts, performances and all cultural and artistic events of this collection are a space and preparation for the presence of people as art audiences. Especially in situations where it may not be possible to perform some programs that require a wider audience and people, galleries and exhibitions are good events that convey a spirit and a sense of freshness to their audience. Of course, it is important to be able to hold rich exhibitions in any field and pay attention to the concepts and communication that the works present in them convey and establish with the audience.
“Theater art needs an audience, and the more spectators there are, the greater the connection between the stage and the artist and the audience,” said the chairman of the board of the Theater House about the hard days of theater artists over the past year and a half and the continuous closures of theaters at the height of the Corona outbreak. Although spacing is used in theaters to keep audiences healthy, artists cannot use masks on stage. However, they took risks in the days of Corona and risked their lives so that spectators could be present in the halls and pursue their interests, but these efforts were not supported by the directors and the government as the art and its artists deserved.
In the end, Rad pointed out: “Some people in the theater have salaries and pensions, and they were able to make a living these days, although it was difficult, but the group that did not have a stable income suffered a lot from this incident and was under pressure.”
