Be honest in playing role
Sara Fathi, theater and cinema actor said: When facing text and playing the role, be honest and straightforward and discover all feelings of text earlier than audience and use it to make the role more believable.
According to Artmag.ir, Sara Fathi, who these days is playing a role in show “Voices Beyond the Darkness” in Molvi Hall, said: “At first, I read text over and over to get right image and tone of character, because understanding text It’s like being in a dark room, where only holes of light shine into it, and these holes are actor’s understanding of text.
She emphasized: As an actor, I need to turn words into images, not descriptions, and then I research whether this character has a historical and social image and identity, and after that it’s time to discover my own relationships and emotions with character. Because if I can’t discover common points within myself with character, I definitely can’t emotionally connect with character.
From point of view of this theater actor, the reason for believability can be that actor refers to character’s birth certificate and blends its feelings with his acting, which requires you to become more deeply involved in some feelings. Its concentration is related to dimensions of a play.
The “Voices Beyond Darkness” actor suggested that we should be honest and forthright in facing text and in playing the role, and discover all feelings of text earlier than audience and use them to make the role more believable, and continued: In this work, Because characters had a historical identity, I went to their interviews, films and biographies and tried to consciously live character in this way.

I hope nature of work is understood, but most important message I got was that work follows a mission.

When I came across text, I started researching and got to know names and people that I had never even heard of; Those who bravely stepped forward to establish peace in world community and tried to be influential.
What part of show affects you most? She noted: Since cruelty to children is one of things that always upsets and angers me, Kailash Satyarthi narrative about children affects my work so much that I play this part every night with disgust. I do, as well as Jordanian journalist Rana Hosseini’s narrative and old wound of honor killings.
Fathi, about personality of “Marina Pisklovakova” (Мари́на Миха́йловна Раско́ва) and what was her mission in human rights issues?
