The Second Silver Night of Iranian Cinema Cameramen
The second Silver Night program was held at the Cinema Museum to celebrate several filmmakers and sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Association of Cinematographers and the High Council of Cinema, 19 June 2018. At the beginning of the ceremony, Toraj Mansouri said, the filmmakers’ association decided to hold a commemoration for him and several other filmmakers years after the death of Mehrdad Fakhimi, a filmmaker named “Silver Night”. Following was a live commemoration of Jamshid Alvandi. In this section, Asghar Rafiei Jam, spoke about Late Al-Vandi’s, saying: “The filmmakers’ association is more than that and I have not seen to this day that it would be appropriate for the filmmakers to perform. The commemoration ceremony of Hassan Gholizadeh was attended by Yadollah Samadi. Samadi said about Gholizadeh: “I will not allow myself to talk about Gholizadeh’s techniques because I don’t see myself at this level, but I always wish him success from what I have learned so much.” Filmmaker Farshad Mohammadi also came on stage to celebrate Hassan Gholizadeh.

Gholizadeh said at the ceremony: After the Islamic Revolution, the authority of videography was stabilized by the arrival of young filmmakers and their awareness, but because of the lack of attention by the cinema house, this authority was diminished, and what we expected from filmmakers is diminishing. . The cameraman explained: It hasn’t been a shake-up for me for years, but filming: What’s the Time in Your World?, and I felt like filming was still alive in the face of visual poverty. He said: “I am not very happy with these agreements that do not work and I will wait until they are done.” Mr. Shahsavari These days we come to the cinema every time to see you in the meeting and this is not true at all. I also urge the Tehran municipality to draw a subway line between the movie theater and the artists’ section to make it easier for us to commute.
