Call of the 6th National Biennial of Calligraphy of Iran
The sixth Iranian National Calligraphy Biennial will be held.
The 6th National Calligraphy Biennial of Iran is organized by the Iranian Calligraphers Association and Qazvin Calligraphers Association with the support of Qazvin Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Center for Visual Arts of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Iranian Academy of Arts, Moaser Institute of Visual Arts Development, Provincial Government and Planning and Budget Organization of Qazvin province will be held simultaneously with the National Calligraphy Day (October 13).
Aims of the festival:
– Raising the position of calligraphy at the national level
– Creating a suitable platform for offering and presenting valuable capacities and capabilities of calligraphy
– Grounding the growth and development of Iranian calligraphy artists
– The growth of the visual culture of the people of the society in connection with the art of calligraphy
– Development and expansion of artistic connections among calligraphers and between calligraphers and audiences
– Prosperity and special attention to promoting the economics of calligraphy and introducing the artist
