Reza Mirkarimi became the judge of Busan Festival
Reza Mirkarimi, an Iranian filmmaker, became a member of the jury of the Busan Film Festival.
According to the art magazine quoted by ISNA, The 26th Busan Film Festival announced the list of three members of its jury and Reza Mirkarimi is a member of the jury of the Kim Ji Seok Award.
The award was formed after the death of Kim Ji-seok, one of the founders of the Busan Film Festival, in 1996, and each year two films are selected from among the young Asian directors present at the festival, each with a cash prize of $ 10,000.
Professor Golnara Abikieva, a university professor, former festival director, critic and writer and member of the Netpak Central Committee from Kazakhstan, and Kim Haeri, a critic from South Korea, along with Reza Mirkarimi, are the judges. The Mecenat Award and the Sonje Award each had three nominated jury members.
Reza Mirkarimi has directed films such as “Under the Moonlight”, “Too Far, Too Close”, “Here is a Bright Light”, “Easy”, “A Cube of Sugar” and …. in his artistic career.
