Biography
He was from the famous Towfigh family and was one of editors of Towfigh Satire Magazine. He was a homonymous and grandson of Hossein Towfigh, writer, satirist, and founder of Towfigh Magazine. With his brothers Hassan and Abbas, from the middle of 1951 to 1971, the operators and editors of the third edition of the magazine were Towfigh humor. This week, the letter of comics and Ironic, was published in nearly half a century. Hossein Towfigh, the last editor of the weekly letter was learned. After the arrest of the magazine in 1971, he had no other press activity, but it has been quoted a few years in the thinking of reviving this publication again. He had an independent, nationalist, and non-dependency personality. After his death in 1939, he stopped publishing and then his son, Mohammad Ali Towfigh, was released for a course of its editor, but with the coup d’état of August 28, 1953, all its possessions went to the spoil, and with the closure of Mohammad Ali Towfigh’s office, was not published for five years.
