The first annual international watercolor of Iran
Iran’s first annual international watercolor exhibition, with a display of 200 works from 24 countries, is open to public for 10 days at Laleh Art Gallery and Garden of Iranian Art Museum.

The exhibition of this event, which exhibits 200 works from 24 countries, is being held by Sareh Gallery in Moscow, in cooperation with Laleh Art Gallery and Garden of Iranian Art Museum.
The opening ceremony of this exhibition was held in garden of Iranian Arts Museum on Thursday, 2024 June 27 and in Laleh Art Gallery on Friday, June 28.
It is possible to visit this exhibition until July 6, during Saturdays to Wednesdays, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except for holidays.
Mohammad Ali Saeedi, director of Laleh Gallery, in the opening ceremony, stated purpose of holding this exhibition as a step towards realization of cultural diplomacy in wide sphere of world art and considered art as a bridge to exchange values and achievements that lead artists of nations towards human commonality.
According to him, each painting contains a speech without words and conveys experience and technique of each artist, with conceptual and transcendental commonalities.
Referring to characteristics of watercolor painting technique, Saeedi said: Among various artistic painting techniques, watercolor technique has countless fans among painters and art lovers all over world because of its spirituality and special tenderness, which every year, on various pretexts, exhibitions are held all over world. The world is held and number of people interested in this artistic technique is increasing day by day. Accordingly, holding this event, in addition to displaying watercolor works of world-renowned artists, provides conditions for local artists to familiarize themselves with handwriting and technical ability of artists around world. Holding and supporting such exhibitions will provide a suitable platform for exchanging energy and improving technical quality of Iranian artists’ works.
The works of Diana Akhmet Zanova, Samira Afrinesh, Yuri Akornets, Harsh Agrawal, Oud Ampova, Anna Andreeva, Konstantin Strakhov, Slaviana Alshanskaya, Akram Ekhtiari, Alexandra Isayeva, Andy Evansen, Yevgenia Iryava, Yevgenia Skoratieva, Ilya Ibrayeva and… in this exhibition It has been exhibited annually internationally.
Artists from 24 countries, including Albania, America, Uruguay, Australia, Italy, Iran, Belgium, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Portugal, Thailand, Turkey, China, Russia, Switzerland, Ghana, Costa Rica, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Mexico, New Zealand, India and Greece have participated in this exhibition.
The garden of Iranian Arts Museum is located in Tajrish Square, Shahid Darbandi Street (Maqsood Beyk), Dr. Hasabi Street and Laleh Gallery on Dr. Fatemi Street, on north side of Laleh Park, next to Laleh Hotel, in front of Laleh Vertical Parking.
