Biography
He is one of the most prolific and most successful Iranian painters and artists. He began painting at the age of 5. It successfully completed the course, but in the upper secondary school, his attention was more attentive and did not care much about other lessons. At the same time, he began to work as a student in a stationery shop because of the painting. He was also active in high school performing activities and the scene decor work and sometimes also made the makeup cast. In the upper secondary school, under the viewpoint of Avak Hiraptian he taught watercolor paintings. In 1958, the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University continued his studies. Then, in 1959, he invented a special style in the art of Vitay or stained glass with an Iranian style air. He worked in various ways in different fields of painting such as making film posters, advertising graphics, packaging design and book cover. After finishing his education from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Sadeghi, the Center for the intellectual development of children and young people, was handed over to making some films animated. He started his work in 1971 in the center of the intellectual development of children and adolescents with animated drawing film: Seven Cities and for the organization, he unveiled several books. He was very dominant at this time in the field of animated painting, illustrations, painting, color and oil. In addition to visual works, Master Sadeghi published a number of books for the Kanun. He also participated in the preparation of several films for the association, which took advantage of his particular painting style. The films were welcomed in world festivals and made up of 15 awards. He also received 4 international awards for illustration of books. In 1958, the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University continued his studies.
Master Ali Akbar Sadeghi, in the year 1977, put filmmaking in a general way and brought it into the surrealism style, and in 1988 years after many years of painting, it resumed. Sadeghi did the initial work of his painting with watercolor, but since it entered the school of Fine Arts, he began to use oil paint in his visual work.
The first prize of The Asian Illustrators Book in the year 1978 for the book: is Worship Is Not Like Thinking, the first prize of the Leipzig Festival (Germany) in the year 1980 as book: The Most Beautiful Book of Victory and the first prize of the graphic for The Best Illustration of Tehran’s book in 1989, is among the awards that has received Sadeghi. He also participated in the sixth and seventh edition of the International Film Festival for Children and teenagers.
He has been active in artistic fields over the past 20 years. In addition, he participated in 25 individual and group exhibitions in and outside the country and seven books from his writings have been published. His work is a kind of Iranian surrealism based on traditional painting and house coffee. He uses mythology and Iranian culture in his paintings. In many preliminary works, Sadeghi attended one or several warriors with the guise of ancient Iranian warriors. Some of these warriors have their own faces of Sadeghi. Master Ali Akbar Sadeghi was introduced as the country’s enduring face in 2008.
