The Fajr 1400 Film Festival came to an end with announcement of the final winners and donation of Crystal Simorghs.
According to Artmag, 40th Fajr Film Festival was held from February 1 to 11 in two cultural and competitive sections (Simorgh Soda).
Twenty-two films competed for Crystal Simorgh of this festival in competitive section of Simorgh Soda, which is most focused on this section. Most of works of this period of festival have social themes, Sacred Defense Cinema, Political Genre and Romantic Melodrama also had a relatively large presence in this period of festival. During this period, we witnessed presence of several films with Criminal Enigmatic themes, as well as presence of a film in Sports Genre that deals with biography of an Iranian athlete.
The members of jury of Simorgh Soda Section of 40th Fajr Film Festival were: Masoud Jafari Jozani, Majid Entezami, Shahab Hosseini, Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar, Mohammad Davoodi, Mehdi Sajadeh Chi and Pejman Lashkaripour.
