The ceremony to commemorate Master Bijan Mohtasham, the father of Iranian makeup, will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Cinematograph Hall of the Iranian Cinema Museum.
According to Artmag.ir citing the Public Relations Department of Iranian Cinema Museum, this ceremony is being held in honor of Master Bijan Mohtasham’s lifetime of artistic and influential work in the field of makeup.
As one of the pioneers of this art, he played a lasting role in the formation and flourishing of modern makeup in Iranian cinema and has always passed on his valuable knowledge and experience to his students and subsequent generations.
