Cinema Museum of Iran is celebrating Kianoush Ayari
Commemoration ceremony of Kianoush Ayari will be held from May 11 to 15 at Cinema Museum of Iran, along with screening of his 8 mm films and 4 restored films.
According to Artmag.ir, quoted by Mehr News Agency, at the same time as Kianoush Ayari’s birthday, during a special ceremony on May 11,treasure of this Iranian cinema director will be opened in Cinema Museum of Iran of Iran, and a number of artists and cinematographers will talk about the characteristics of Ayari’s works and his role in Promotion of Iranian cinema will give a speech and at the same time 8 mm films of this artist will be shown.
Also, from Sunday, May 12, to Wednesday, May 15, at 5:00 p.m., modified and restored versions of movies “The Abadanis”, “Spectre of Scorpion”, “Wake Up, Arezu!” and “To Be or Not to Be” will be screened in Ferdous Hall in cooperation with Iran’s National Cinema, and after screening of films, a review session will be held in presence of audience and media.
Attendance at this ceremony is free for cinema lovers.
