Awarding a plaque of appreciation and a gift from the National Commission for UNESCO to Iran to Zhaleh Olov
Zhaleh Olov, a veteran film and television actor, said: “I am proud to have served the art of this land for 72 years in the fields of theater, radio, dubbing, and poetry.”
The plaque of appreciation and gift of the National Commission of UNESCO of Iran for a lifetime of artistic activity of Zhaleh Olov was awarded to this veteran actor, speaker and voice actor by Maryam Dosti, the secretary of the 20th Salafi Short Festival.
In a video message for the festival, she said: “I am proud to have served the art of this land in the field of theater, radio, dubbing, poetry, etc. for 72 years.” I have always been encouraged by people and this encouragement has always made me stable. I hope that festivals such as the “Salafi 20” short film festival will support young filmmakers and their works.
The first “Selfie 20” short film festival, which began at the same time as the discovery of Corona, focused on the impact of the spread of the virus on individual and social life, hosted 420 one- to three-minute films by artists and people across the country. Then, 56 films were evaluated by the judges of this event by reaching the final stage of the competition. These candidates are to be announced at the closing ceremony, which will be held with the relative improvement of the situation.
In honor of the health of the audience and the artists, the 20th Salafi Short Film Festival canceled its closing ceremony, which was scheduled to take place on 26 October, following the citizenship of the decisions of the Corona Anti-Corruption Headquarters and postponed it to another time.
Zhaleh Olov was born on 6 August, 1927 in Tehran and is a poet, radio announcer, voice actor and actor in theater, cinema and television. This artist has a brilliant history in many works and was introduced as a lasting figure in 2010.
